Vice President of Logistics and Operations
Bob Brenner is senior vice president of Avnet Logistics and Operations, responsible for all warehousing, engineering, and near-shoring assembly operations in the Americas.
Having joined Avnet in July 2008, as global vice president of quality, Mr. Brenner has achieved an outstanding record of accomplishments, including the development of a comprehensive logistics infrastructure in Latin America. He has extensive technical and customer relations expertise and is well-versed in operational excellence and six sigma process improvement methodology.
Prior to joining Avnet, Mr. Brenner worked for Arrow Electronics as general manager/director of logistics and value-add operations, which included computer integration and connector assembly/power supply operations at multiple sites in the Americas. Mr. Brenner also has held management and engineering positions with progressively more responsibility at General Dynamics and McDonnell Douglas/Boeing in support of numerous advanced electronics programs.
He is a member of the board for The Boys and Girls Club of Nogales, Mexico.
Mr. Brenner holds a master’s in business administration from the University of Redlands, Redlands, California.
