Vice President, Corporate Quality & Supply Chain Management
Ramon is Vice President of Corporate Quality & Supply Chain Management at Daikin Applied. In this position he leads quality and supply chain, including logistics, for all of Daikin Applied’s sites in the US and Mexico. Daikin Applied designs and manufactures technologically advanced commercial HVAC systems for customers around the world.
Ramon has spent over 20 years working in manufacturing, marketing, sustaining engineering, operations, quality and supply chain in locations in the US, Europe and Asia. Prior to Daikin Applied, he held numerous positions of increased responsibilities at Emerson. His last area of responsibility being group VP for global Supply Chain.
Ramon has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and an International MBA from Gardner-Webb University. He is also a Chartered Engineer, registered with Engineers Ireland. He holds a Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB) certification from the American Society for Quality, as well as a Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence Certification (CQM/OE) and a Quality Engineer Certification (CQE). He also served in the United States Navy from 1993 to 2001. He was featured in the February 2016 edition of BOSS Magazine on an article on Supply Chain at Emerson. He was also a keynote speaker at the SCOPE Fall 2016 conference.
