Vanessa Van Bui has been a Global Supply Chain leader for nearly 16 years, with deep knowledge in the apparel, footwear, and consumer products sectors (baby carriers, strollers, car seats, baby accessories).
For nearly 16 years, Vanessa has traveled around the world to develop and manage operations with manufacturers and distributors in Vietnam, China, Cambodia, Indonesia, India, Korea, Taiwan, Sri Lanka, Mexico, Poland, and Japan. She has also helped streamline manufacturing operations in Nicaragua, Haiti, Honduras, and Columbia.
Experienced at directing production and operations in 10+ countries at any given time, Vanessa enjoys supply chain complexities and loves both revamping supply chains from end to end and also developing new ones from the ground up. She has been successful in building effective teams and has developed powerful supply chains that have delivered best in class service and quality with improved profitability.
Since June 2011, Vanessa Van Bui has served as the Global Supply Chain Vice President at Ergobaby, the makers of the Ergobaby baby carriers and the Orbit Baby travel systems. Over the past 5 years, Ergobaby has become the #1 baby carrier brand in both Japan and the USA.
Prior to Ergobaby, Vanessa was the Supply Chain Vice President and Production Director at Strategic Partners, the largest medical and school uniform company in the USA, offering over 40,000 unique products under many brands including Dickies and Cherokee.
Vanessa graduated from Mills College in Oakland, CA where she was the elected Associated Student Body President. She earned a Bachelors in Business Economics, minoring in Computer Science. She speaks Vietnamese fluently, is APICS CSCP Certified and a Six Sigma Green Belt.
