Blake Mathies is the Vice President of Supply Chain and procurement at Vanderlande Industries Inc. North America Division. Vanderlande is the global market leader for value-added logistic process automation at airports, and in the parcel market. The company is also a leading supplier of process automation solutions for warehouses. 

His responsibilities involve managing the end to end supply chain for Canada, the U.S. and Mexico. Through direction of a sourcing organization, project supply chain operations, a distribution and logistics center and conveyor equipment manufacturing, he supports over $200 million in annual spend.

Blake has over 21 years of Supply Chain, logistics and transportation experience in multiple industries, both public and private. He has managed supply chain for the US Air Force, Navy and Army, NASA, Department of State and Department of Interior. He has also managed and operated supply chains for Harley-Davidson Motor Company, Woods Equipment Company and now Vanderlande.

Prior to Vanderlande, he managed the supply chain for the US military’s primary flight training aircraft, the T-6, helping to train the next generation of pilots providing supply chain support for 774 aircraft at 11 different locations across the U.S.

Blake believes the key to continuous improvement in supply chain is investment in continuous education. The constant advancement of technology and access to data requires us to keep ourselves up to date with the latest tools.

Blake graduated from the US Air Force Academy in 1995 and currently resides in Kennesaw, GA. He is known for his high energy, work ethic, relentless pursuit of excellence and giving back to his community.
